Crime Prevention SSD (CPSSD) has a combined ownership experience of over 45 years of providing top notch professional services. Our ownership has owned, and managed security companies, Served as Correctional Officers, Law Enforcement, Federal Contracting, and Managed two of the largest Ports of Tacoma, Washington amongst managing several large Special Events, Fairs, and Concerts. 

We are not a massive Corporation dependent on hiring less than qualified individuals to fill client needs. Instead we are a small group of highly trained professionally licensed, and experienced individuals. The (CPSSD) Elite Unit of Security Officers that makes up our Special Services Division are capable of handling Special Services beyond the ordinary Security Company.

How do you ensure the reliability of your security guards?

We at Crime Prevention SSD (CPSSD) carefully recruit screen and train our Security Officers to ensure they meet the highest standards of professionalism and competence.

Unlike many competitors we DO NOT hire any Security Officers without at least (4) years of verifiable professionally licensed experience in Corrections, Law Enforcement, Federal Contractor, Military Police, or Highly Trained Security Industry experience. 

Furthermore, we only offer employment to those whom have shown a stable work history, clean criminal background, and clean driving record.

That is exactly what we do, and what the major difference is between Crime Prevention SSD (CPSSD) and our competitors.

We work closely with our clients to understand their unique security requirements and tailor our solutions program accordingly to fit their needs.

In addition we offer all clients the opportunity to screen all Security Officers that will be assigned to their account. Once the client has had this opportunity we then assign the Security Officers that the client has choosen and feels will best meet their organizational needs.
